Ricardo Montaner is the founder of La Ventana De Los Cielos, “A Window to Heaven,”  a non-profit organization that aims to promote, advocate and protect the right of children and adolescents with special abilities.

The organization, which is located in Homestead, Florida, specializes in physical and intellectual development for those with disabilities by providing them with zoo-interactions, aqua-experiences and equestrian activities.

“Special abilities should be seen naturally enough to make no distinctions among each other,” said Montaner, who founded the program in 2005 with his wife Marlene Rodriguez.
