Predict World Cup results to win food and drinks at Brickell bar

In addition to rooting for their favorite countries competing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, fans can also get involved in the Fado Big Cup Predictor.

Hosted by Fado Irish Pub, the Big Cup Predictor allows fans to predict the final scores of every match. Predictions earn participants pub cash, which be redeemed for food and drinks.

“It adds a fun layer to an already exciting event,” said Lev Zaldivar, manager of Fado Irish Pub in Mary Brickell Village. “Our pub is very popular among soccer fans, so we wanted to do something where our patrons can share their knowledge and win free food in the process.”

Users earn 50 points for guessing a match, regardless of the result. An extra 50 points are earned for correctly predicting the winner, with an additional 50 points earned for correctly predicting the final score.

1,000 points can be redeemed for $5, which can then be used to purchase food and drinks at the pub.

The Big Cup Predictor is free to register to play. The FIFA World Cup began on June 14 and ends on July 15, but anyone interested can get involved at any point in the tournament.
