Places to go for Fourth of July for FREE

Celebrate your Independence Day with friends and family at some of these South Florida hotspots! You’ll find games, music and live entertainment at all of these events, and most of them are FREE!

The Biltmore Hotel

Bring a blanket, throw a football around and enjoy the music and food trucks available to guests on the golf course around the Biltmore Hotel. Entrance to the golf course and the fireworks show is FREE, but for those interested the hotel will be hosting a dinner and other events, tickets are available on their website. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Miccosukee Resort & Gaming

Miccosukee is celebrating Fourth of July with its Freedom Festival, where an array of activities will be available for everyone all day. There will be carnival rides, water slides, airboat rides, alligator wrestling, music, games and vendors selling Native American crafts. Events will take place throughout the day, but times vary. Bayfront Park

Bayfront Park boasts having the largest fireworks show in South Florida. The event will feature kids activities and yoga provided for FREE. Food and beverages will also be available. The park will be open all day, with activities beginning at 9 a.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Miami Beach

Miami Beach’s Fire on the Fourth celebrates Independence Day with FREE entertainment for the whole family, including music, yoga, a rock climbing wall, bungee stations, corn hole, potato sack racing and more. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

North Miami by the Bay

North Miami will host its Fourth of July celebration at FIU’s Biscayne Bay campus, on the Koven’s Center grounds. FREE Music and entertainment will be available to guests. Fireworks begin at sundown!

Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove will be hosting various Fourth of July events in multiple locations, with a daytime picnic at The Barnacle, fireworks show at Regatta Park and special deals at restaurants in the area. Plenty of FREE activities will be available for children at Peacock Park beginning at 5 p.m. and fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Find details here.

Hollywood Beach

Hollywood Beach will host FREE music and fireworks for their Star-Spangled Spectacular Celebration, with offshore fireworks taking place at 9 p.m. Tip: don’t bring alcohol or fireworks of your own!

City of Doral

Independence Day celebrations will take place at Doral Central Park with FREE entertainment and activities for the whole family. Food and beverages will be available, and it’s recommended to bring a blanket and chairs. Fireworks begin at 9:20 p.m.
