Last day for voter registration

The last day to register to vote in Florida for the 2018 General Elections is Tuesday, Oct.9. Early voting in Miami-Dade County begins at 7 a.m., Monday, Oct. 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6.

New early voting locations in Miami-Dade County are at Florida International University Modesto Maidique Campus, Miami Dade College and Miami Dade College North Campus.

According to the official online voter registration website for Florida, the deadline to register is 29 days before an election. Voters can check registration using the official website or by calling your county Supervisor of Elections.

In-person registration is available at the local public library branch and your county Supervisor of Elections office. Other voter registration agencies such as governmental or public offices offer in-person voter registration at the same time as services received.
